Network Outages and Upgrades
We will post information concerning scheduled outages and upgrades that will be taking place on the servers. We will do our very best to limit these to early in the morning and on the weekends. If we have an outage that might require an outage longer, we will do our best to limit the time the servers are down.
April 2007
We will be taking Venus down for about 1-2 hours in the evening ET time for a complete server upgrade. We will upgrade the sever and add RAID for quick drive replacement on failures. More information will be entered.
April 17, 2007
The Venus server lost a drive. We had to go down for drive replacement, reload of OS and reload of the accounts. the outage should be only about 3 hours.
September 10th, 2006
We will be shutting down all the servers for relocation to a much newer data center and facility. This outage should be between 03:00 ET and 10:00 ET Sunday the 10th. If we have problems at the new center, the outage could go longer. We will do what we can to limit the actual outage. Please note that there will be NO DATA LOSS and NO LOSS OF EMAILS during this outage.
